Company Profile

Welcome to ProFlight Aerial Photography on the web. We are a newly formed company based in the National Capital Region of Canada offering unique perspectives to our clients in Eastern Ontario.

We provide all types of imaging and photo services, but our specialty is capturing high quality, affordable, custom photographs taken from a low level aerial perspective. We are capable of shooting from ground level to 3000ft using a variety of simple and sophisticated equipment at our disposal and we guarantee to provide you with professional and personalized service.  Rest assured that while the company is new, you have over twenty years of flying and photography experience working on your job.

How we do it

We utilize a 5 story tall mast tripod, and/or a remotely piloted helicopter, that can be positioned at the exact location needed for maximum visual impact to obtain unique low altitude aerial photos and video. In contrast to full size aircraft that are typically restricted to 1000ft and up, we generally operate much closer to the ground, usually between 35 and 250 feet. This gives you higher quality images with greater details, and that unique perspective that better serves your needs. Note that in the case where greater height may be needed or the requirements of the job demand it, we also use full size helicopters and airplanes.

ProFlight AP is fully insured for business operations and approved by Transport Canada when conducting Special Flight Operations (SFO) with remotely piloted helicopters and full size aircraft. We display our SFO Certificate when we are on site. In addition, we are members of the Remote Control Aerial Photography Association (RCAPA), and in addition to passing their AP-G exams, we follow all recommendations and guidelines set forth by the association.

Please make sure to check our FAQ section for additional details and please feel free to contact us with any additional questions you might have.

Imaging and Graphics Services

Images we provide as part of our aerial photo packages will have some basic post processing enhancement work performed to ensure they are of the highest quality possible. Should the client request it, we can also further enhance and modify photos in various manners such as adding or removing unwanted elements or imperfections. Examples of this may include removing people or vehicles, enhancing color of vegetation such as making grass greener (or even adding grass), highlighting a particular property area through use of color alongside black and white, and superimposing elements such as buildings or roadways into the subject frame for example.

In addition to our aerial photography work, we can also offer graphic design services and traditional ground based photography should there be a requirement. Please contact us for further details.
